Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on July 20, 2021 as Space and Defense Correspondent. In this role, Fisher is responsible for covering everything from NASA's newly-created Space Force to commercial space companies and space tourism. Kristin is the mother of two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up in the world of space and covered the Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. The reporter also reported on the presidential election in 2020 as well as the efforts of two administrations to combat the coronavirus. Her extensive travels with the President and Vice-President included an official trip to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on with Donald Trump. Kristin has worked in the regional news market of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for over a decade before joining the network. She was awarded the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as the CBS station's reporter who was a one-man band. Kristin's skills as a camerawoman has led her to create Field Mouse Films which specialized creating documentary-style films for corporate clients such as Uber Hotels & Resorts, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelors of Science in Journalism from Boston University. She is currently living in Washington, D.C., along with her family members, including their three-year-old daughter.
